3.20.08 New Jersey American Industrial Hygiene Association Meeting

Brent Altemose, CIH, CSP, of SABRE Health & Safety presented at the New Jersey American Industrial Hygiene Association (NJ-AIHA) meeting in Scoth Plains, NJ.   His presentation, "Local Exhaust Ventilation Program Management", discusses how to set up a program to ensure proper design, maintenance, testing, and operation of a local exhaust ventilation system.  Codes as well as best practices are described.  Specific areas of discussion include local exhaust ventilation design and selection, local exhaust ventilation testing, and the impact of local exhaust ventilation on general ventilation and pressurization.
